Our philosophy in LENS Sports Academy is to create safe, independent swimmers! We teach the kids how to be safe in the water and learn the basic swimming skills
Evaluation testing is done each term to assess your child’s swimming skills and capabilities to progress to the next level. This will be done by one of the coaches on pool deck. The Evaluation Book will be provided to each swimmer in the time of evaluation.
Class Duration 45mins
This Level is mainly for kids of age 3-4 years old. Who is complete Beginners and have no any background of swimming. The aim of this program is as follow:
– To Learn how to get safely in the water, especially if it is the Swimming Pool,
– To learn how to float in the water,
– To Learn how to breathe (to do bubbles) in the water,
– Get introduced to the gliding, kicking and jumping.
Class Duration 45mins
This program is progression from the Level 1. If your child already can FLOAT and Swim by him/herself under / above the water but has no proper kicking technique that this is the exact level.
The aim of this program is as follow:
– To learn basic kicking with & without the kick-board on the back and front,
– To learn basic diving skills,
– Get introduced to the early skills and basic techniques for front crawl and backstroke,
– Being able to swim to a point safely with no support.
Class Duration 45 mins
This program is progression from the Level 2. If your child already can do Front Kicking 10m by him/herself that this is the exact level.
The aim of this program is as follow:
– To improve kicking with & without the kick-board on the back and front that the child would be able to do kicking 25 meters,
– To improve diving skills on the deep side of the water,
– To improve the skills and techniques for front crawl and backstroke,
– To be able to to swim 25 meters with no support non – stop.
Class Duration 45 mins
This program is progression from the Level 3. If your child already can swim Front Crawl 25m by him/herself and that this is the exact level.
The aim of this program is as follow:
– To begin the swimming Front Crawl & Backstroke 25 meters – 50 meters non-stop,
– To work on the kicking speed with & without the kick-board,
– To improve diving skills on the deep side of the water,
– To get introduced to the Breaststroke kicking “Froggy Legs”.
